Time Locker – Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
Time Locker (“the App”) is a productivity and focus tool that helps you manage your own phone and selected app usage with time-based lock periods. This policy explains what information the App handles.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, messages, photos, or location, and no account is required. The following is stored only on your device and never sent to our servers:
• Apps you choose to lock and your lock schedules.
• Usage statistics (how long apps or the device were locked).
Clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App deletes this information.
2. Accessibility Service
Time Locker uses Android’s Accessibility Service only to detect and manage access to the apps you selected during an active lock period. It is not used to collect personal or sensitive information, to read what you type or see on screen, or for any unrelated purpose. No data from it leaves your device. You can turn it off anytime in Android Settings → Accessibility (locking will then stop working).
3. Permissions
Depending on your device, the App may request: Accessibility Service, usage access or installed-apps list (to show apps you can lock), display over other apps (to show the lock screen), notifications/foreground service (to keep locks running), and internet access (for ads). You can revoke any permission in your device settings.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads from Google AdMob: an app open ad, an interstitial ad after some saved schedules, and a banner ad on the app list screen. Google may collect your Advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, under Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
5. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. The only data shared with third parties is advertising data handled by Google AdMob, as described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
